The name is made of two powerful elements: Nabi, which in Korean means butterfly, and Kon, which in the Incan worldview represents the god of wind and rain. Both the butterfly and the rain were present during key moments of pain and change in the life of the creator of this work. Through them, she received strength, clarity, and renewal. That is why, when the word NabiKon was received, it became clear that it was more than a symbolic combination—it was a living energy that had always been present.

Later, by exploring the Semitic root of the word “Nabi”, its meaning expanded even further. In Hebrew and Arabic, Nabi translates as “prophet” or “the one who announces,” directly linked to divine proclamation, to the message that must be carried from the higher realms to the human. This discovery confirmed that NabiKon was not just an image or a beautiful concept. It was a message naming a function: to transform through what is subtle and to announce what the soul needs to remember. In the convergence of the ethereal (the butterfly), the elemental (water and wind), and the sacred (the voice of the prophet), the full identity of NabiKon was revealed.

The figure that represents NabiKon is tall, slender, and without arms. This design was not random. For more than twenty years, this form was drawn and painted again and again, without yet knowing its meaning.
